Hi, I’m Risa!

My journey started as the daughter of an immigrant. I saw firsthand the hardships for immigrant families in this country and wanted better for the next generation.

I went into education wanting to be a change-maker. I saw so many ELL students struggle in their classrooms and felt powerless to do anything. I traced the problem back to a lack of teacher preparation.

For me, being a change-maker now means boosting teacher confidence for student success. That's why I created Every Teacher—to be a guide, a support for teachers.

Pairing my professional training and personal experience, I’ve now helped countless general education educators as they navigate the hardest parts of teaching Multilingual Learners.
